Cooperation with a Chinese company in the field of alternative energy production

Regional khokim Khairullo Bozorov received representatives of the Chinese company Longyuan Power Group, a large operator of wind and solar power plants.
At the meeting, issues of investment by a Chinese company in large energy projects in our region were discussed.
It should be noted that Longyuan Power Group designs, builds and jointly operates wind, solar, geothermal, hydroelectric, gas, coal and biomass power plants. The company also sells electricity to network companies and other consumers, trades in energy equipment and coal, and provides consulting services. The company also assists in the repair and maintenance of power plants, wind turbines and other equipment. Organizes advanced training for wind power plant specialists and tests equipment.
During the conversation, the head of the region noted the company’s best practices and achievements in the energy sector, emphasizing that cooperation in the installation of solar panels in our region, as well as in equipping large enterprises with solar chargers, is promising.
As part of mutual cooperation, it was proposed to build compact substations in the region, and information was also provided about the industrial zones of the region, in particular about the Shursuv industrial zone, located in the Uzbekistan region. The company's specialists noted the possibility of placing their projects in this industrial zone after studying its capabilities.
In order to implement these initiatives, responsible persons were appointed, and an agreement was reached with company representatives to jointly study the industrial zone and begin work on promising projects.
