Exploring Strategic Prospects for Tourism Development in Our Region

In recent years, significant attention has been paid to the development of tourism as one of the key sectors of the economy in our region. In this direction, numerous promising projects aimed at improving tourist infrastructure and attracting both foreign and local tourists are being implemented based on the experience of leading countries around the world. In particular, various festivals held in the cities of Fergana, Kokand, Margilan, and the Rishtan district have significantly contributed to increasing effectiveness in this area.
The Presidential Decree signed on January 12 of this year, titled "On Measures to Significantly Increase the Flow of Foreign Tourists to the Republic and Further Stimulate Domestic Tourism," serves as a foundation for elevating work in this sector to a qualitatively new level. Today, an open dialogue with representatives of business entities engaged in the tourism sector took place at the regional administration as part of the implementation of the decree.
During the meeting, the head of the region, Khayrullo Bozorov, highlighted the work done in recent years to attract foreign and local tourists to our region. He emphasized that thanks to meetings with global brands and foreign investors, new international air routes have been opened, which has contributed to an increase in tourist flow.
At the end of September this year, a visit to our region by leaders and experts from the world's leading tourism companies is planned. As part of this event, master classes will be organized for local entrepreneurs. The main goal of this event is to foster international cooperation and the exchange of global knowledge to promote Fergana region as one of the most attractive tourist destinations in our country.
Additionally, a gastronomic festival is planned to be held in Fergana in November of this year. The primary purpose of this event is to showcase the rich and diverse culinary heritage of our country and the Fergana Valley, as well as to bring together local and international chefs, culinary masters, cultural enthusiasts, and tourists. It is recognized that the festival will help popularize traditional national dishes and culinary traditions, as well as enhance the region's potential in the field of gastronomic tourism.
At the meeting, it was noted that the active participation of our entrepreneurs working in the tourism sector in these forums will be an excellent opportunity to showcase Fergana's tourism potential on the international stage.
In turn, the leaders of business entities also put forward proposals and initiatives for the development of tourism, expressing their readiness for active cooperation in pursuing common goals.
