As is known, in July of this year, a delegation from the Fergana region, led by Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, visited Turkey on a working visit, where they met with the leadership and members of TÜGİAD – the Turkish Young Businessmen Association in Istanbul.

During the productive meeting, initial agreements were reached to implement investment projects in the Fergana region in areas such as metallurgy, healthcare, digital education, and furniture manufacturing. Additionally, it was agreed to collaborate on opening a representative office of the Turkish Young Businessmen Association in Uzbekistan. These agreements have since translated into concrete actions.

In today’s meeting, the parties discussed the projects and initiatives planned for implementation within the framework of these agreements.

Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that the development and support of entrepreneurship in the region remain a top priority, particularly noting the establishment of Entrepreneurs’ Councils in various districts. He highlighted the importance of international cooperation in these efforts and provided information on the projects set to be realized in the region.

The Turkish delegation is currently visiting the Eco-City, the "Kokand" Free Economic Zone, and several enterprises to familiarize themselves with the economic and investment potential of the Fergana region.

TÜGİAD, which unites over 1,000 young entrepreneurs under the age of 35, operates across more than 60 sectors, including construction, textiles, foreign trade, automotive, machinery, metallurgy, tourism, food production, and furniture industries. The combined annual revenue of TÜGİAD member companies exceeds $60 billion, with an annual export volume of more than $36 billion.
