The regional governor, Khayrullo Bozorov, along with sector leaders of the region, reviewed the preparations for the upcoming VI International Traditional Textile Festival “Atlas Festival,” which will take place from September 19 to 21 this year in the city of Margilan.
In particular, the governor visited the amphitheater located in the Erkin Vohidov Creators’ Park, where he held discussions with the officials responsible for the festival’s organization. Tasks were assigned regarding the beautification and greening of the area, festive decorations, and the creation of comfortable conditions for participants and artisans, as well as the arrangement of pavilions.
Additionally, the state of the area in front of the City History Museum was criticized, and instructions were given to promptly address the issues, bringing the area to an attractive and orderly state. Clear directives were issued to ensure the event is held at the highest standard. Instructions were also given to expedite the beautification of the city's landmarks, event venues, and central streets.
This traditional festival is expected to host nearly 100 international guests from over 20 countries.
