Today, alongside educational institutions across the country, universities in our region also commenced the new academic year.
The Governor of the Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, attended a solemn ceremony marking the start of the academic year at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Fergana State University.
In his address, the governor congratulated the professors, staff, and students on the beginning of the new academic year. Quoting the President's words, "Salvation lies in education, salvation lies in upbringing, salvation lies in knowledge," the governor emphasized that the key factors in strengthening our independence and enhancing the country's strength are creating all the necessary conditions for young people to receive a high-quality education and instilling in them national values, patriotism, pride, and honor. He stressed that every young person should make it their primary goal in life to serve the country and contribute their knowledge and energy to its development.
The governor also delivered a lecture on the theme of Independence to more than 200 newly admitted students.
During the event, a group of university faculty members were awarded academic titles, diplomas, and commemorative gifts. Parents of students who achieved the highest scores in entrance exams were presented with letters of gratitude.
