The Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, along with district sector leaders, visited the city of Kokand to oversee the progress of establishing the "Kokand" Technopark.
Based on the directives given during the President's visit to our region, a special industrial zone—Technopark—is being established in Kokand. The project aims to launch initiatives worth $1 billion and create at least 10,000 high-paying jobs. The Technopark will cover an area of 230 hectares, and preparatory work on the land for the park is currently underway.
The Governor instructed Kokand's sector leaders to expedite the development of the Technopark's master plan and address organizational matters related to land preparation.
