An action-oriented seminar, aimed at reducing poverty and transforming Margilan into an unemployment-free zone, was held with the participation of neighborhood chairmen, mayor's aides, and social workers, in collaboration with the regional task force.

During the seminar, the regional governor focused on the priorities set by our President during his recent visit to the region, as well as in the videoconference meeting led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev yesterday. The meeting addressed the next steps in elevating efforts to reduce poverty to a new qualitative level.

To achieve the goal of transforming Margilan into a region free of unemployment and poverty, task forces have been assigned, and a comprehensive census of households in all neighborhoods has been conducted. Considering Margilan’s rich experience, potential, and the development of entrepreneurial activities, actions have been outlined to eliminate unemployment and reduce poverty to its lowest level by the end of the year.
