The Governor of Fergana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited the projects being implemented by the Chinese company “Shandong Swan Cotton Industrial Machinery Stock Co. Ltd” at the site of the former Mechanical Plant in Fergana City. As part of this initiative, the company “Ferghana Swan Cotton Industrial Machinery Stock Co. Ltd” has been established and officially registered. A service center for machinery maintenance and a training center have also been set up.
The governor closely inspected the training center, which has recently become operational. At present, Chinese specialists are conducting five-day training sessions on operating modern cotton-picking machines for mechanization specialists from the region's farming enterprises.
During the visit, eight Swan cotton-picking machines were handed over to local farmers. Notably, for the first time this season, 65 cotton-picking machines will be in operation across the region. Of these, 45 are from the Chinese company “Shandong Swan Cotton Industrial Machinery Stock Co. Ltd,” assembled in Fergana, while 15 are from “John Deere” and other manufacturers.
