In the Fergana region, specific measures have been outlined to implement renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies. The regional governor, Khayrullo Bozorov, and the regional prosecutor, Bakhtiyor Ismailov, visited the "Fergonaazot" joint-stock company to review the projects being carried out in this sector.

The company has commissioned solar photovoltaic stations with a total capacity of 238 kW over the period from 2021 to 2024. As a result, the enterprise has achieved a saving of 351.5 MWh of electricity. Currently, as part of the program to enhance energy efficiency, introduce energy-saving technologies, and develop renewable energy sources, work has begun on a project to install a solar photovoltaic station with a total capacity of 10,000 MW, valued at 60 billion soums. This new capacity is expected to save approximately 19,740.86 MWh of electricity annually.

The regional leader emphasized that energy-saving technologies contribute to increased economic benefits and issued directives to expedite the launch of the new project.

Khayrullo Bozorov also visited the Fergana Oil Refinery, where he reviewed ongoing modernization efforts funded by a $251 million investment. The modernization includes the construction of an administrative building, a central laboratory, a control room, and a kitchen facility. Currently, the company produces 60 types of products, which are supplied to the domestic market and 15 foreign countries.

Furthermore, the regional leader visited Posco International Textile in Fergana city and engaged in discussions with its representatives. The meeting focused on increasing production volumes, boosting exports, and preparing for the cotton-harvest season in the cotton-textile cluster.
