A major healthcare project has been implemented in Fergana city, with the opening of the private medical clinic "Compass Hospital." The inauguration of this modern healthcare facility turned into a festive celebration.
During the opening, regional governor Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that the healthcare reforms in the country are primarily aimed at serving the interests and well-being of individuals. He noted the rapid development of private healthcare in recent years, highlighting the increasing number of private medical facilities in the region, the rising quality of medical services, the introduction of advanced medical equipment, and the adoption of innovative practices. The newly opened clinic is a continuation of these ongoing efforts.
Located on Qomus Street, the "Compass Hospital," established under the initiative of Zafarjon Askarov, is equipped to provide outpatient services to more than 300 patients daily. The clinic also features 88 inpatient beds and has created over 120 new jobs.
Over $8 million was invested in the construction of the facility and the acquisition of necessary medical equipment. Notably, the clinic specializes in treating conditions in fields such as neurosurgery, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, surgery, traumatology, and cardiology. It has the capacity to perform more than 200 surgical procedures. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including an excimer laser, a retinal microscope, and modern tools for endoscopic surgery.
Guests at the event were introduced to the facility’s amenities and the advanced medical equipment installed at the clinic.
