Fergana Region Governor Khayrullo Bozorov met with South Korean investors at the “Boboshbek” Trade and Production Complex in the Uchkoprik district. During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of a waste recycling project and the establishment of an agro-logistics center planned for the Dangara district.
The waste recycling project, valued at $23 million, is a direct investment. The initiative aims to convert waste into gas and electricity. Additionally, a $300 million agro-logistics project will encompass the entire agricultural product lifecycle—from seed supply to cultivation and export.
The waste recycling project has already commenced, with drilling operations underway. The governor expressed his support for these projects and emphasized the need to accelerate their implementation and broaden the scope of collaboration with South Korean investors.
