In accordance with the recent Presidential decree, “On Awarding a Group of Educators Who Have Demonstrated Exemplary Performance on the Occasion of Teacher and Mentor Day,” five dedicated educators from the Fergana region have been honored with prestigious state awards.
The award ceremony took place at the regional administration building, attended by regional sector leaders, education officials, and representatives of the broader community.
During the event, Governor Khayrullo Bozorov extended his heartfelt congratulations to all teachers and mentors on their special day. He discussed the recent educational reforms, emphasizing that in the New Uzbekistan, the development of the education system has been identified as one of the government’s top priorities. All efforts and resources are being mobilized to support the intellectual and physical growth of young people, ensuring they receive a high-quality education and find their rightful place in society.
The governor highlighted the invaluable contribution of teachers and mentors to these transformative efforts. He also noted the achievements of the Fergana region in the field of education, particularly its high ranking in the national education quality index.
During the ceremony, the state awards were presented to the recipients. Speaking on behalf of the honorees, the awardees expressed their deep gratitude for the high level of attention and recognition given to the teaching profession.
