The Governor of Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited several projects recently launched by local entrepreneurs in Kokand.
In the Quduqli neighborhood, “My Seven Technology” LLC has initiated the production of televisions and wall mount brackets. With a total investment of $1 million, the project has created 40 new jobs. During his visit, the Governor observed the ongoing operations and expressed interest in the entrepreneur’s upcoming projects.
The plastic components of the products are manufactured in-house, while the remaining parts are imported and assembled locally. Entrepreneur Jurabek Botirov informed the Governor about his plans to install new equipment, increase the number of employees to 80, and explore export opportunities. He also highlighted ongoing efforts to fully localize all product components in the future.
Additionally, new projects have been launched on the site of the former canning factory located in the Davronbek neighborhood. “Tech Boil” LLC has invested 4 billion UZS into a project focused on the production of electrical products, which began operations in February. Currently, the factory employs 25 workers.
The Governor inspected the factory’s operations and provided instructions to diversify product offerings, expand production capacity, create new jobs, and effectively utilize vacant spaces in the area.
In the Islomobod neighborhood, the Governor reviewed the construction of the Handicrafts and Tourism Center being developed by the foreign enterprise “Baraka International Trade Group” LLC. This project, valued at $15 million, is currently underway.
During his visit, the Governor also addressed issues related to the elimination of unauthorized constructions and reviewed proposals for revitalizing idle industrial facilities, assigning specific tasks to the responsible authorities.
