In accordance with a Presidential decree, lifting 500,000 people out of poverty by the end of 2024 and an additional 1 million people in 2025 has been established as a primary objective of the state’s socio-economic policy. This goal has been set as the top priority for all state bodies and organizations at all levels. To achieve these targets, specific measures have been developed and implemented in our region. Leaders have been assigned to support low-income families and communities, providing comprehensive assistance in various forms.
As an example, under the initiative of the management of the “Hududgaz Fergana” Gas Supply Branch, a new three-bedroom house was constructed for Diloromkhon Hasanova, a resident of Karmak neighborhood in Furqat district. The Governor of the region visited the district and inspected the newly built house to ensure it met the necessary standards.
Prior to this support, Diloromkhon Hasanova, who was in need of social assistance, had been living with her son in her sister’s house. She now has a home of her own. The new property, which spans 6 sotik (approximately 600 square meters), is equipped with a tandoor room, a bathroom, and a kitchen. Additionally, the family was provided with two sheep and chickens to help improve their household income. Her son, a vocational school graduate, has been employed by the district’s gas supply department.
In a conversation with the Governor, Diloromkhon Hasanova expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the President for the attention and support provided to her and her family.
