The Governor of the Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, visited Furqat district to review projects being implemented by local entrepreneurs.
In the Navbahor neighborhood’s “Temiryo’lchi” small industrial zone, the “Gullar Aziza” LLC has launched a new production line for manufacturing plastic crates. The enterprise, established in cooperation with Azerbaijani and Turkish business partners, has created 30 new jobs.
The Governor inspected the operations at the facility and also reviewed plans for the next phase of the project. The upcoming initiative involves the drying and packaging of over 30 types of fruits. Once the project is operational in December, it is expected to generate an additional 100 jobs. Currently, equipment installation is underway.
The Governor also reviewed the progress of a cotton yarn production project being implemented by “Furqat in Tex” LLC. The project’s initiator, “Musavvar Tex” LLC, has invested $25 million into the initiative. Once operational, the facility will create 500 new jobs.
The Governor closely monitored the ongoing activities at the site and issued directives to accelerate the project’s implementation to meet the established timelines.
