As part of the “Fergana Valley Jewel: Investment and Tourism Prospects” forum in Kokand, meetings with representatives of foreign delegations are being held.
Within the framework of this forum, the Governor of the Fergana region, Khayrullo Bozorov, received Ahmad Mansour Khalaf Fahad Al-Ilaj, Economic Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait. During the meeting, they discussed expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between the regions.
It was noted that Uzbekistan-Kuwait relations have entered a new phase, with numerous projects being implemented across various sectors. The discussion highlighted the importance of intensifying cooperation with Kuwaiti entrepreneurs in the region. In particular, ideas were exchanged on implementing investment projects in the construction, oil, and gas industries.
The guests were informed about ongoing construction projects in the cities of Kokand and Margilan, with an invitation extended to undertake their own projects.
An agreement was reached to collaborate on new projects in various sectors.
For context, the Uzbekistan-Kuwait Business Forum is being held in Kokand, with a delegation of leading Kuwaiti business representatives in attendance.
