Today, the Governor of Fergana, Khayrullo Bozorov, met with Özgül Özkan Yavuz, Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
Özgül Özkan Yavuz highly praised the tourism potential of the Fergana region and expressed her intention to contribute to its further development. She noted her plans to invest in new projects and presented proposals for collaboration in various sectors, including sports, medical, mountain skiing, nature, and business tourism. Additionally, she emphasized that developing every aspect of tourism in Fergana would help attract tourists for longer stays. She also stressed the importance of paying attention to place names, branding, and slogans to further engage tourists.
Governor Bozorov acknowledged that these proposals could play a significant role in elevating the region’s tourism to a new level and expressed his readiness to collaborate.
Both parties agreed to establish a working group comprised of specialists from both regions to begin implementing these initiatives.
