The Qamishtapa neighborhood in the Koshtepa district is specialized in furniture production, with nearly 200 households engaged in this craft. As a result, the area is currently recognized as being free from unemployment.
Khairullo Bozorov, the governor of the Fergana region, along with regional sector leaders, visited the Qamishtapa MFI to familiarize themselves with the entrepreneurial activities of local families.
Doniyor Kholbekov has established a glass processing business using modern equipment, supplying polished and treated glass for furniture on demand. Around 20 young people from the neighborhood work here, earning an average salary of 7-8 million soums. The governor highly praised the entrepreneur's work after observing the production process.
Zuhritdin Mashrapov’s family is engaged in mattress production for furniture from their home. The governor provided him with guidance on expanding his business and increasing his income. Similarly, Khusanboy Nurmatov has created 10 jobs in his home-based mattress production business.
Another local resident, Ikromjon Otabayev, has set up a furniture production operation in his home. His products are in high demand. During his visit, the governor reviewed the production process and noted that Otabayev's household is also earning significant income from viticulture. He emphasized that every family should aim to achieve similar success.
Adkhamjon Boronov has started producing bedroom furniture, while Tojidin Mahmudov supplies raw materials to local furniture makers, providing employment for 15 young people in the neighborhood.
Governor Bozorov instructed the district sector leaders to focus on the specialization of each neighborhood and support families in finding stable sources of income.
