Akramkhon Yunusov, a well-known craftsman in the Sarmozor mahalla of Koshtepa district, specializes in metal engraving—creating exquisite artistic items using embossing techniques. He is renowned for crafting beautiful products from copper, such as pitchers, trays, teapots, vases, and samovars.
The governor of the Fergana region, Khairullo Bozorov, visited the artisan’s home to view his creations. During the visit, Yunusov shared his plans to establish a workshop, training center, and a small guesthouse for tourists.
In the same neighborhood, Oqtamkhon Hamrokhojaev is engaged in crafting horse equipment. His handmade products are also in demand in Kazakhstan. Currently, around 20 households in the area have established partnerships with the entrepreneur, producing various components for these items on order. The average family income from this work ranges from 6 to 8 million soums.
The governor visited Hamrokhojaev’s home to observe the production process. He praised the entrepreneur’s efforts and provided guidance on expanding the business and creating additional job opportunities.
